  1. Use ripe and good quality Avocado : Make sure that you use properly ripe avocado and look for avocado that yields to gentle pressure and is not mushy , this is how you know if the avocado is ripe.
  2. Buy A good quality bread , prefer using a whole wheat sourdough bread.
  3. Toast the bread to golden brown to get the maximum taste and texture needed for avocado toast.

  1. Add Garlic to the avocado toast to enhance the taste . I would reccomend you to add Garlic powder into the avocado mixture and not raw garlic.
  2. Add your leafy greens into the mix such as chopped cilantro or basil as they go great with Avocado.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Of Bread (I like Sourdough and whole-grain bread the best)
  • 1 ripe Avocado
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • Splash of Lemon Juice
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 1 small Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 nos Green Chilli finely chopped
  • Coriander finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Spread

  • Remove the pit from your avocado. Use a big spoon to scoop out the flesh. Put it in a bowl and mash it up with a fork or a potato masher until it’s as smooth as you like it. Mix in a pinch of salt (about ⅛ teaspoon) and add more to taste, if desired.

  • Toast the bread slices evenly until they turn golden brown.

  • Drizzle some seasoning or chili flakes to make it look appetizing.
